Sheringham Potty Festival, Morris and Folk Dancing July 2027

This annual seaside tradition has been going strong since 1993. It's a free, fun, family-friendly event where you can enjoy traditional music and dance, plus performances by the local Sheringham Shantymen singers.

This event is free to attend and spectate, and you can make it a full day out, with the beach, shops, many charity shops alongside many independent places for eating and drinking.

Morris and Potty Festival in Sheringham, Norfolk

The weekend attracts many Morris Dancers from around the country, and as many visitors who like to watch, as the streets are transformed. The weekend usually starts with a parade of all who participate, followed by dancing throughout the town.

2026 had 54 sides taking part and in 2018, it earned a Guinness World Records title.
