Steam Back to the Forties - 1940's weekend 19th & 20th September 2026
The Railways' 1940s Annual weekend has been hugely popular for over 30 years. All three stations and the towns get involved too, it's an event tnot to be missed.
Sheringham Towns 1940's weekend, which has grown in popularity over the years and attracts thousands of visitors. For more information on the town, take a look at Experience Sheringham website
Visitors, locals and business dress up, and the towns is transported back in time. Stalls, singing and dancing, Parades, vehicles, people, buses, and so much more is transported back in time to the 1940s.
Sheringham usually hosts a ration book stamping competition with prizes donated by local businesses. 2026 is set to see a new take on this.

🍽️ Murder Mystery Various dates - upon North Norfolk Railway
A themed murder mystery evening will take place aboard a steam locomotive that will haul you from Sheringham via Weybourne to Holt and return. The evening will also include a 3-course meal. Each train has a theme and you're encouraged to dress up, but it's not compulsory.

The Norfolk Lights Express - 14th Nov 2026 - 3 Jan 2027
Have you been on this magical journey through the Norfolk countryside? I can recommend it. It's a 5 1/2 miles journey on a full-size steam train lit with 100's of lights that will transport you through 10 colour light scenes with onboard narration and music.
