Christmas and New Years - Cromer, 3 miles down the road, usually has a Boxing Day sea dip and Sheringham a New Year's Day dip - weather permitting if you fancy braving the North Sea or wrap up warm and spectate. New Year's Day, a fantastic annual event of a fireworks display takes place off Cromer Pier.
